Welcome! My name is David Hertzberg. I am a writer, researcher and political analyst in the Washington, D.C. area, where I have lived and worked for the last 30 years.

I am also a Drupal freelancer (drupal.org user 34423), building and designing websites for clients from Hagerstown to Hong Kong for about the last 10 years, and working intensively and almost exclusively with the Drupal content management system since late-2005.

I am drawn to working with Drupal for many of the same reasons I find irresistible the music of Bach: structural coherence, forward motion, and ingenious architecture, culminating in an ineluctably lucid and intellectually satisfying intersection of substance and form.*
